How to get to TANI’s Place
|
Take the train from the airport to the Central Station (not any other Amsterdam Station). Taxis are available 24/7 in front of Amsterdam CS. It is only an 8 euros fare to van Heemskerckstraat 21-1.
If you decide to take a taxi from the airport, it will cost you about 35/39 euros and you will arrive at the address in 20 minutes.
The area is called the ZEEHELDENBUURT (sea heroes quarter) which is a 5 minutes walk from the JORDAAN area and a stones throw from the WESTERDOK EILANDEN (Western Islands). The Westerdok comprises three islands: Bickerseiland, Prinseneiland and the photogenic Realeneiland, with its row of 17th century houses built by the islands founder, Jacobsz Reaal.
